- Carry a valid ordinary passport and supporting travel information such as flights and accommodation.
- For unilateral exemption, the 30-day stay is counted from 00:00 on the day after entry.
- For transit, confirm your exact entry port and allowed travel area against the latest NIA table. Do not assume all Chinese destinations are included.
- Work, study and journalism require the relevant approvals and visa. Other passport categories and residents of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan have separate entry arrangements.
